Manually Add Attendees to Your Events
This article explains how to manually register attendees for your HighLevel events without requiring them to complete the public registration form. You'll learn how to create registrations, assign tickets, process payments, and issue confirmations instantly.
This capability is essential for handling walk-ins, phone bookings, offline sales, complimentary tickets, and partner allocations while keeping your event inventory and attendee data in sync.
What is Manual Attendee Registration?
Manual attendee registration allows event organizers to create event registrations directly from the Registrations page in HighLevel. This feature bypasses the public registration form, enabling you to register attendees on their behalf.
This capability is designed for scenarios where attendees cannot or prefer not to register online, such as walk-in registrations at the event venue, phone bookings, offline sales through partners, complimentary ticket allocations, or corporate group registrations.
All manually created registrations are fully integrated with your event management system—tickets are issued immediately, confirmation emails are sent automatically, and registration data syncs with your attendee dashboard and ticket inventory in real time.
Key Benefits of Manual Attendee Registration
How to Manually Add Attendees
Follow these steps to create a manual registration for your event attendees:
Go to Events → Registrations. Create or edit an event. Click the Add Attendee button to open the manual registration workflow.

Choose one or multiple ticket types from the available options for your event. Specify the quantity for each ticket type. Click on Continue.

For each ticket, either select an existing contact from your CRM or create a new contact record. Complete the required attendee information fields.
If you're registering multiple tickets, you can copy attendee details across tickets to speed up the process when one person is purchasing multiple tickets.

When creating a new contact during registration, the contact is added to your CRM and immediately associated with the event registration. All contact information becomes available for future campaigns and event invitations.
Choose your payment collection method and complete the transaction. Options include charging a card through your connected payment provider or recording an offline payment. Once done, click on Add & Record Payment.

Tickets are issued immediately and confirmation emails are sent automatically to all registered attendees.

The registration appears instantly in your Registrations dashboard with complete details including attendee information, ticket assignments, and payment records.
Payment Collection Options
Manual attendee registration supports two payment collection methods, giving you flexibility to accommodate different transaction scenarios:
Process the payment immediately using your connected payment provider (Stripe, Authorize.net, PayPal, or NMI). This option charges the attendee's credit or debit card in real time and generates an instant payment confirmation.
Document a payment that was collected outside the system using methods such as Cash, Card, Check, Bank Transfer, or Other. This option creates a payment record without processing a transaction through your payment provider.
Both payment methods create a complete audit trail in your Registrations dashboard. All transactions—whether processed online or recorded offline—are documented with timestamps, payment methods, and amounts for accurate financial reporting.
Ticket Issuance and Confirmations
When you complete a manual registration, HighLevel automatically handles ticket issuance and attendee communications:

Confirmation emails use your event's configured email templates. You can customize these templates in your event settings to match your branding and include custom messaging for attendees.
