We are excited to announce Advanced Analytics within the Social Planner, offering enhanced analytics for your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok, GBP, Threads and Bluesky accounts. With this feature, you can now gain deeper insights into your social media performance across various metrics. This article will cover the available metrics, reports and platform‑specific limitations.



What are Advanced Analytics in the Social Planner?


Advanced Analytics in HighLevel’s Social Planner provide a consolidated view of your social performance across platforms so you can evaluate posting volume, visibility, and engagement in one place. Use these insights to identify what content performs best, compare platforms side by side, and refine your strategy with confidence. 


Supported platforms include: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Google Business Profile (GBP), Threads and Bluesky. The available metrics vary by platform.

Where to Find Social Planner Advanced Analytics


To access the analytics dashboard, navigate to Marketing > Social Planner > Statistics.



Supported Social Media Platforms and Limitations


Metric availability varies on each platform. Use the notes below to set expectations and keep analytics flowing without interruption.



Supported Platforms


Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Google Business Profile (GBP), Threads and Bluesky.


Permissions and Reauthentication Alerts


Receive real-time alerts when your connected accounts require re-authentication to access analytics. This ensures continuous access to up-to-date insights without interruptions. Users will be able to see the statistics from the next day / when they reconnect their accounts with upgraded permissions.


Post Specific Statistics


Post Specific statistics are shown in the post details modal (Planner - List View)

  • Platforms supported: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok personal, LinkedIn page.
  • Platforms to be supported: Youtube, Pinterest.
  • Platforms not supported: Google Business profile, TikTok Business, LinkedIn profile, communities.


Platform‑Specific Notes


TikTok

  • Only BUSINESS profiles are supported
  • May take 1 or 2 days to reflect data due to the TikTok API availability.


Pinterest

  • Takes n-2 days to reflect the correct data. (Similar behaviour is observed on hootsuite and other portals owing to API constraints)


LinkedIn

  • Only Linkedin pages are supported not the Linkedin profiles owing to API constraints.
  • Verify Total followers - Followers data will be available only until n-2 days (n being the current day).


Threads

  • Impressions and Post Reach not supported
  • No follower count, gender data, or advanced engagement metrics
  • T-1 day delay for the metrics except the post count

Bluesky

  • Impressions are supported
  • Follower metrics, demographics, and advanced engagement breakdowns not supported
  • T-1 day delay for the metrics except the post count


Demographics are not supported by any of the newly released Platforms

Filter by Platform and Account


To filter based on accounts, open the dropdown in the upper-left and check the boxes for the accounts you want included in the metrics.




Use the selector bar on the left to filter results based on social media platform. Choose All for a cross‑platform rollup, or select a specific platform (e.g., Threads, Bluesky) to narrow results.

Tip: Hover over the tooltip (i) next to any metric for definitions, supported platforms, and time‑range details.



KPI Overview


Track the number of posts, likes, followers, impressions and comments across all platforms at a glance.


  • Number of Posts: Total number of posts published across all selected social accounts.

  • Total Likes: Total likes on posts published across all selected accounts.

  • Total Followers: Total unique followers who joined across all selected social accounts.

  • Impressions: Total unique impressions on published posts across all selected social accounts.

  • Comments: Total count of comments on published posts across all selected social accounts.



Social Post Performance


Visualize your Social Post Performance with an interactive graph, showcasing published posts (bars) alongside daily totals for impressions, likes, and comments (lines) so you can track posting trends and weekly performance at a glance.


  • Bar Graph (Weekly Posts): Show the number of posts published per week across all selected social media platforms.

  • Line Graph (Engagement): The overlaying line graphs represent the total number of interactions (comments, likes, and shares) per day, regardless of when the posts were published.




Number of Posts


This depicts the platform-wise total number of posts published across all selected social accounts. It shows the current week's posts compared to the previous week's.




Engagement


The unique number of likes, comments, and shares received by posts published broken down by platform. The engagement percentage reflects the change in this week's data compared to the previous week.




Impressions


Impressions shows the number of times any published post was displayed on a person's screen. Impression percentage reflects change in this week's data compared to the previous week.




Post Reach


Analyze post reach to understand the number of people who have seen any content from your page/account/about your page on their screen. This includes posts, check-ins, ads, social information from people who interact with your page, and more. The post reach percentage reflects the change in this week's data compared to the previous week. 


For Google Business Profile, this number reflects the total number of Call Clicks, Website Clicks, Food orders, Bookings, Food Menu Clicks and Direction Requests.




Top Performing Posts


Use this report to see your top all-time posts. Top-performing posts are the posts with the highest number of likes among published social posts from the social planner. Click the Eye icon next to any post to view that post within the Social Media platform.




Engagement Stats


Get a detailed view of engagement metrics such as total likes, comments, and shares, broken down per platform. Use the selector ribbon to switch between Total Engagement, Total Followers and Total Likes. This report can be used to identify which platforms best drive engagement, helping you tailor your content strategy accordingly.




Gender Demography


Use this report to dive into detailed demographic data, including the gender distribution (male, female, and unknown) and age range insights. Demographic data is only available for those viewers who has shared the data for calculation to the respective Social Media Platforms.


Important: This metric is not available for Instagram users with fewer than 100 followers.

The analytics data is typically updated in real time, allowing you to monitor your social media performance continuously and make timely adjustments to your strategy.


Q: Are there any tips for interpreting the analytics data effectively?
When interpreting analytics data, focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with your goals. Look for patterns over time, compare similar posts, and consider external factors that may influence engagement.


Q: What time range can I view in Social Planner Analytics?
You can currently view analytics data on a weekly basis only.
