Overview of Adding Pinterest Pins in Social Planner
Pinterest pins can be created and published directly from Social Planner, so you do not need to switch between HighLevel and Pinterest to build your post. After connecting a Pinterest business account, you can upload an image or video, add the pin title and description, include a destination link, and choose the Pinterest board or boards where the pin should be published.
Each pin requires one image or one video, and at least one Pinterest board must be selected before the pin can be posted, scheduled, saved, or sent for approval.
You can also create multiple Pinterest pins at once by selecting up to 25 boards for the same post. Each selected board creates its own published pin, allowing you to share the same content across multiple Pinterest destinations without recreating the post manually.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I publish one Pinterest pin to multiple boards?
Yes. Multi-board publishing allows you to publish a single Pinterest pin to up to 25 boards per Pinterest account from one Social Planner composer. Each selected board creates its own published pin automatically, so you do not need to duplicate the same post manually for each board.
Q: Does each selected board create a separate pin?
Yes. Each selected board creates a separate published pin. This helps keep tracking and analytics separated by board.
Q: What happens if publishing fails for one selected board?
A failure on one board does not block the other selected boards from publishing. Each board is handled independently.
Q: Why do I need to select a Pinterest board?
Pinterest requires pins to be saved to a board. The selected board determines where the pin appears on Pinterest.
Q: Can I create a new Pinterest board while creating a pin?
Yes. Use the New board or Add board option in the board dropdown to create a board during post creation.
Q: Why is my Pinterest board not appearing?
Confirm that the correct Pinterest business account is connected, that you have admin access, and that the board exists in the connected Pinterest account. If the account was recently updated, reconnecting or refreshing the social account may help.
Q: What happens if my media does not meet Pinterest requirements?
The pin may fail to publish or may need to be adjusted before it can be scheduled. Check the file type, file size, duration, and aspect ratio before posting.
