Pause Account Feature – Everything You Need to Know

Pause account

The Pause Account option gives you the flexibility to step away while keeping your setup and data safe. You can resume whenever you're ready and pick up exactly where you left off.


What happens when you pause your account?

During the pause period:

  • You and your sub-accounts will not have active access to the platform.

  • Your data, settings, and configurations will be securely preserved.

  • You can reactivate, change, or cancel your plan anytime.

When you reactivate, all your progress will be restored so you can continue right where you left off.


What is preserved during the pause?

We retain your core business assets so your work remains intact.


CRM Assets

All CRM data will be preserved, including:

  • Contacts
  • Conversations
  • Custom Objects
  • Tasks
  • Opportunities
  • Companies
  • Users

Funnels

  • All funnel configurations and settings will be preserved.
  • Any live published funnel pages will be moved to Draft state.

Automations

  • All workflows and automations will be preserved.
  • Any live/published automations will be moved to Draft state.

Calendars

  • All calendar configurations and settings will be preserved.
  • Booking links will be moved to Draft state.

Client Portal & Products

  • All configurations and settings will be preserved.
  • Client access will be blocked during the pause period.

Email Builder

  • All email assets and templates will be preserved.
  • Any scheduled email campaigns will be moved to Draft state.

Media Storage

  • All uploaded media files will be securely preserved, including images,videos, PDFs and documents ,audio files and other uploaded media assets.

Snapshots

  • All configured and saved snapshots will be preserved.

Subscriptions

  • All subscriptions (created directly with GHL checkouts) will be preserved.

Transactions

  • All transactions created or imported in GHL will be preserved to view along with associated Receipts.

Products

  • All products created or imported in GHL along with their prices and variants will be preserved.

Orders

  • All orders created or imported in GHL will be preserved to view along with associated transactions.

Coupons

  • All configured coupons (whether active or expired) will be preserved.

Gift Cards

  • All gift card products configured and orders placed will be preserved.

Payment Settings

  • Configured payment settings would be preserved against Receipts, Taxes, Subscriptions, Notifications, etc.

What is not included in the pause plan?

The following items are not retained when an account is paused:

Phone Numbers & A2P Registration

  • Phone numbers and A2P registrations will be deleted 14 days after the account moves to paused state.

Reselling / SaaS Subscriptions

  • All reselling, marketplace and SaaS subscriptions will be automatically cancelled once the account is paused.
  • You will need to resubscribe to these services after reactivating your account

Domains

  • Any upcoming internal domain renewal will fail, and the domains will be expired.

How to reactivate your account?

Reactivating your account is simple and takes just a few minutes.

  1. Go to the login page and sign in to your account.
  2. You’ll be presented with a Reactivate Account screen.
  3. Complete the payment process.
  4. Your account will immediately move from Paused to Active status.
