What is the HighLevel Partner Network?

The HighLevel Partner Network is a program that connects businesses with qualified HighLevel partners who can help them use the platform effectively. Businesses are matched with Partners based on their specific needs and the expertise of available Partners.

For qualified Partners, the network provides opportunities to connect with potential customers, establish service relationships, and grow their businesses.

Partner Eligibility and Qualification

Joining the Partner Network requires an eligible Founder Plan subscription and successful completion of the qualification process. Meeting these requirements allows founders to become qualified Partners.

How Partner Matching Works

Partner matching connects businesses with qualified Partners whose expertise aligns with their needs. Recommendations are personalized to help businesses identify suitable service providers.

Beginning January 1, 2027, HighLevel will start matching businesses with qualified Partners.

  • Each business receives five personalized Partner recommendations.

  • Recommendations are based on business needs and available Partner expertise.

  • Partner status influences weighting within the matching algorithm.

Being recommended creates an opportunity to connect with a potential customer but does not guarantee a new client.

Partner Status Levels

Partner status recognizes growth in HighLevel wallet spend across connected customer accounts. Performance is evaluated relative to other Partners in the network, and higher status levels increase matching weight.

Connecting Customers with Your Partner ID

A Partner ID is a unique identifier assigned to each qualified Partner. It connects customer accounts to the Partner serving them, allowing eligible wallet spend growth from those accounts to contribute to the Partner's status.

If you already work with businesses using HighLevel:

  1. Obtain your unique Partner ID after becoming a qualified Partner.

  2. Ask your HighLevel customers to add your Partner ID to their accounts.

  3. Once connected, eligible growth in those customers' HighLevel wallet spend can contribute to your Partner status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does subscribing to the Founder Plan automatically enroll me in the Partner Network?

No. The Founder Plan is HighLevel's $497/month subscription, while the Partner Network is a separate, optional program. You must opt in and complete the applicable qualification requirements to become a Partner.

Q: Is there an additional membership fee to join the Partner Network?

No. Eligible Founder Plan customers can apply to join the Partner Network without paying a separate Partner Network membership fee.

Q: How do I opt into the HighLevel Partner Network?

You can submit the opt-in form through the Partner tab in your account or visit https://partners.gohighlevel.com/

An active Founder Plan subscription is required.

Q: What happens after I submit the opt-in form?

Once your active Founder Plan has been confirmed, you will be assigned a Partner Growth Specialist and receive a welcome email outlining the next steps, including the applicable assessments and onboarding call.

Q: What are the requirements to become a qualified HighLevel Partner?

You must have an active Founder Plan subscription, pass the Builder Exam, Advisor Exam, and AI Implementation Exam (unless an exemption applies), and complete onboarding with a Partner Growth Specialist.

Q: Can existing HighLevel customers qualify for assessment exemptions?

Yes. Certain existing customers may qualify for exemptions based on their account history, business model, and applicable qualification requirements.

Q: Can individual service providers join the Partner Network?

Yes. Individual Experts can join the Partner Network. They must personally complete the required assessments unless an approved exemption applies.

Q: Can Solutions Provider team members split the required assessments, or does one person need to complete all three?

Solutions Providers can divide the three required assessments among team members based on their roles and expertise. One person does not need to complete all three assessments.

As long as all three assessments are successfully completed by team members linked to the same organization, and the organization completes its onboarding requirements, the Solutions Provider can meet the qualification requirements.

Q: What is the purpose of the Partner Growth Specialist onboarding call?

The call helps evaluate your readiness to serve customers and provides an opportunity to discuss your business, services, ideal customers, and areas of expertise. This information helps establish your Partner profile for matching.

Q: When will Partner matching begin?

Partner matching is currently scheduled to begin on January 1, 2027.

Q: How does HighLevel match businesses with Partners?

HighLevel matches businesses with qualified Partners based on their needs and the expertise of available Partners. Matching is intended to help businesses find providers suited to their requirements.

Q: Does becoming a qualified Partner guarantee leads or customers?

No. Qualification makes you eligible for matching opportunities, but HighLevel does not guarantee a specific number of matches, customers, projects, or revenue.

Q: Can customers request a different Partner if the initial recommendations aren't suitable?

Yes. Customers can request another set of Partner recommendations if the initial matches do not meet their needs.

Q: Can a Partner decline a customer opportunity?

Yes. Partners can decline opportunities when the customer's requirements are not a good fit for their services or business model.

Q: Can Partners specify the types of customers and projects they want to work with?

Yes. During Partner Intake, Partners can provide information about their services, industries, preferred customers, capacity, availability, and other business preferences to help inform matching.

Q: How does Partner status affect matching opportunities?

Partners are assigned Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum status based on wallet spend growth across their connected customer accounts relative to other Partners. Higher status increases their weighting in the matching algorithm but does not guarantee a specific number of customer matches.

Q: Can I connect customers I already work with to my Partner account?

Yes. Qualified Partners receive a unique Partner ID that existing customers can add to their HighLevel accounts. This establishes a recognized Partner relationship and allows eligible wallet spend growth to contribute to Partner status.

Q: What happens when a customer adds my Partner ID?

You receive an invitation to join the customer's HighLevel agency account with agency-level user permissions. You must accept the invitation to gain access.

Q: Does adding a Partner ID transfer ownership of a customer's HighLevel account?

No. Adding a Partner ID does not transfer account ownership. The customer retains ownership, while the Partner receives agency-level user access through the invitation process.

Q: Can a customer remove or change their connected Partner?

Yes. Customers can initiate removal of their existing Partner ID. Once HighLevel processes and approves the removal, the Partner relationship ends and the Partner's associated agency access is removed.

Q: Do existing HighLevel Certified Admins automatically qualify for the Partner Network?

No. Certified Admin status does not automatically grant Partner Network membership. Existing Certified Admins must opt in and complete the applicable qualification and onboarding requirements.

Q: Do existing Certified Admins need to retake the Builder Exam?

Existing Certified Admins who completed the original certification have already satisfied the foundational Builder requirement and do not need to retake it solely to pursue the Partner Network.

Q: Can I keep my existing Certified Admin certification without joining the Partner Network?

Yes. Existing Certified Admin certifications continue to be recognized. Joining the Partner Network is optional and is not required to retain the credential.

Q: Does the free Certified Admin certification provide Partner matching opportunities?

No. The free Certified Admin certification demonstrates HighLevel proficiency but does not include Partner Network matching opportunities. Matching requires separate Partner Network qualification.

Q: Do businesses have to pay to receive Partner recommendations?

No. Partner matching is free for businesses. However, Partners may independently charge for their services, and any service-related fees are handled directly between the business and the Partner.

Q: Who determines the pricing for services provided by a Partner?

Partners set their own service pricing. The Partner and customer agree directly on pricing, project scope, deliverables, and payment arrangements.

Q: Who provides support when a business works with a HighLevel Partner?

HighLevel Support handles platform functionality, technical issues, account access, and billing-related concerns. Partners are responsible for the services they provide, such as implementation, configuration, customization, strategy, and training, according to their agreements with customers.

Q: Will Partners receive ongoing training and business growth resources?

Yes. The Partner Network includes ongoing enablement through training, business growth resources, guidance, and support from the Partner Growth team.
