With over 15 million annual transactions processed, HighLevel maintains security as a fundamental pillar of our platform. While our system architecture avoids storing sensitive cardholder data, our PCI DSS v4.0.1 Certificate of Validation issued by an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) serves as a clear testament to our continuous investment in payment security and customer trust.
PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is the global rulebook for keeping credit card information safe. This certificate means an independent security expert confirmed our systems meet the strictest global safety standards. Whether you process payments through order forms, invoices, payment links, Ecommerce stores or SaaS mode billing across any of our six supported payment providers, the infrastructure supporting those transactions is independently verified as secure.
What This Means for Agencies and Businesses
HighLevel was assessed as a service provider. This directly simplifies compliance and sales enablement for our customers:
- Documented Proof for Your Compliance: Businesses that rely on third parties for payments must verify their provider's compliance annually. This certificate gives agencies and their clients independent documented evidence for those required reviews.
- Faster Vendor Reviews: When clients or prospects ask if your payment platform is secure, you can provide a current certificate rather than just a promise.
- Stronger Enterprise Footing: Payment security validation now sits alongside our SOC 2 Type II milestone as independent evidence you can bring into security questionnaires and procurement discussions.
"While our architecture does not store cardholder data, we proactively pursued this validation because we believe in best-in-class security. Every payment our customers collect on HighLevel carries their own customers' trust. Validating our payment surfaces against the strict PCI DSS v4.0.1 standard means an independent assessor has reviewed how we protect that trust."

What's Next
Our certificate is valid until October 7, 2027 and we will maintain this validation through regular assessments. Security remains a foundational part of how we build HighLevel for the agencies and businesses that run on it.
