Use Undo/Redo for quick step-by-step reversals, and Change History to jump back to any point in your current editing session. These tools help you experiment safely while following the same draft → publish model used across Workflow Builder.
Overview
Undo/Redo rolls canvas edits backward or forward one step at a time, and Change History lists your recent actions so you can restore the canvas to an earlier state in a single click and then continue editing.
What Undo/Redo tracks
Undo/Redo and Change History track canvas edits that Auto Save captures, including:
Add / delete / move nodes
Connect / disconnect paths
Enable / disable nodes
Auto-layout (Tidy Up) and other layout adjustments
Configuration edits inside an action/trigger form are not included
Change History → Recent Changes
The Recent Changes tab shows a chronological list of your latest eligible edits (e.g., adding/removing steps, reconnecting branches, enabling/disabling nodes).
Click any entry to restore the canvas to that exact moment; everything after that point is undone in one go. You can then redo forward step-by-step.

Notes & limitations
Draft-only. Undo/Redo & Change History work when the workflow is in Draft. They are not available on Published workflows
Session-based. History exists only for your current editing session. If you exit or refresh, the history resets.
After Restore. If you restore a prior Version History snapshot, Undo/Redo resets and starts fresh from that restored draft.
Multi-editor. History is local to your session. If multiple users edit the same workflow, your Undo/Redo won’t include their changes; use Version History to review/rollback cross-session edits.
Performance. In very large canvases, you may briefly see a Saving… indicator before a change appears in the list.
