What is the Updated Branded App?

The updated Branded App brings HighLevel’s member-facing experiences together in a more modern mobile environment. Communities, Courses, account resources, live experiences, and other member tools are easier to discover and navigate without requiring members to move between disconnected experiences.

The Branded App continues to provide a native iOS and Android experience using your business branding. With the redesigned experience, members benefit from improved navigation, stronger performance, streamlined sign-in, and easier access to the resources connected to their account.

Existing members can continue accessing their resources using their current Client Portal login experience. HighLevel’s unified Client Portal architecture is designed to bring resources such as Courses, Communities, memberships, and billing together under one login.

Key Benefits of the Updated Branded App

The redesigned Branded App reduces friction for members by making important content and account resources easier to access from one mobile experience. Performance and navigation improvements also help members spend less time finding content and more time engaging with your business.

  • Live Sessions & Rooms: Members can join supported live audio and video experiences directly from their Communities.

  • Faster performance: Improved app loading, navigation, and media performance create a smoother mobile experience.

  • Simplified member access: A refreshed sign-in and sign-up experience makes it easier for members to access their resources.

  • Redesigned navigation: Members can move more easily between Communities, Courses, Account, and other available areas.

  • Centralized Member Hub: Billing, subscriptions, certificates, documents, contracts, and shared files are easier to locate from one member-focused area.

  • Consistent branding: The refreshed welcome and member experience keeps your business branding visible throughout the app.

  • Improved reliability: The updated app architecture supports greater stability and makes it easier to deliver future improvements.

Live Sessions & Rooms

Live Sessions & Rooms make it easier for members to participate in real-time Community experiences without leaving the Branded App. Native live experiences can support video, audio, chat, reactions, screen sharing, and other interactive features depending on how the host configures the session.

Members can join supported Live Room events directly from the Community event experience. HighLevel’s Live Room functionality is built into Communities, allowing members to participate without needing a separate meeting application for native Live Room events.

HighLevel also supports Go Live sessions in Communities. Go Live can be used for interactive meeting rooms or broadcasts, and members can participate from supported web and mobile experiences.

Refreshed Sign-In and Welcome Experience

A simplified authentication experience helps members reach their content with fewer unnecessary steps. The redesigned welcome experience also provides a more consistent transition between your branding, member authentication, and the resources available after login.

HighLevel’s unified Client Portal experience consolidates access so members can use one login to view resources associated with their Client Portal identity, including Courses, Communities, memberships, and billing. Members do not need to be re-invited simply because the unified experience is enabled.

For members who previously had duplicate contacts using the same Client Portal identity, eligible resources can appear together under a single login. The underlying CRM contact records are not automatically merged.

Redesigned Home and Navigation

The redesigned Home experience gives members a clearer starting point when opening the Branded App. Improved navigation reduces the need to search across separate experiences and helps members find relevant Courses, Communities, account resources, and other available content more quickly.

Depending on the resources available to the member, navigation can provide access to areas such as:

  • Communities

  • Courses

  • Account

  • Billing-related resources

  • Shared files

  • Additional member tools available through the app

HighLevel’s unified Client Portal architecture is designed to provide one navigation system across customer-facing resources while improving content discovery and mobile responsiveness.

Member Hub

The Member Hub gives members a centralized place to find account-related resources without searching across multiple areas. The exact items available to each member depend on the resources and features associated with their account.

Members may use the Member Hub to access supported resources such as:

  • Billing information

  • Subscriptions

  • Documents

  • Documents & Contracts

  • Certificates

  • Shared files

Shared files and contact-record Documents are separate from HighLevel Documents & Contracts. Shared Documents are files associated with a contact record and made available through the Client Portal, while Documents & Contracts supports workflows such as proposals, contracts, estimates, signatures, and related document processes.

Members with access to shared document functionality can also upload supported files through the Client Portal experience. Uploaded files are associated with the member’s contact record in HighLevel.

Members with issued certificates can access supported certificate actions such as previewing, downloading, or sharing available certificates.

Performance and Reliability Improvements

Faster loading and more responsive navigation help members interact with content without unnecessary delays. The updated architecture also creates a stronger foundation for delivering future improvements across HighLevel’s customer-facing experiences.

The updated Branded App includes improvements such as:

  • Faster app launch

  • Smoother navigation

  • Improved image performance

  • Improved audio performance

  • Improved video performance

  • Greater stability and reliability

  • A modern foundation that supports faster delivery of future updates

HighLevel’s unified Client Portal is built on a shared modern architecture designed to improve performance across desktop and mobile experiences while supporting faster future development.

Automatic Migration to the Updated Branded App

The Branded App update is designed to minimize disruption for existing members. Eligible Branded Apps are updated automatically, so members do not need to migrate their content manually or create a separate member experience solely because of the redesign.

For the Branded App release:

  1. No manual app migration is required.

  2. The updated Branded App is rolled out automatically to eligible apps.

  3. Existing members continue using the member access provided through your Branded App.

  4. You will receive an email when the applicable Branded App update is complete.

The Branded App rollout should not be confused with separate Client Portal activation or preview controls that may be available inside HighLevel. The Unified Client Portal can have its own enablement and migration process depending on the account experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do existing members need to create a new account?

Existing members should continue using their established Client Portal access. HighLevel’s unified experience is designed to maintain member access without requiring members to be re-invited solely because of the interface upgrade.

Q: Will duplicate CRM contacts be merged during the member migration?

No. HighLevel’s Unified Client Portal can bring resources associated with the same Client Portal identity together under one member login, but duplicate CRM contact records are not automatically merged.

Q: Can members participate in a live session instead of only watching it?

Depending on the Live Room configuration and permissions set by the host, members can use supported interactive features such as audio, video, chat, reactions, and Raise Hand.

Q: Are Shared Files and Documents & Contracts the same thing?

No. Contact-record Documents and shared files are separate from HighLevel Documents & Contracts. Documents & Contracts supports workflows such as proposals, contracts, estimates, signatures, and related document processes.

Q: Can members upload files through the updated member experience?

Supported Client Portal experiences allow members to upload eligible document and image file types. Uploaded files are associated with the member’s contact record.

Q: Will every member see the same options in the Member Hub?

Not necessarily. Available resources depend on what has been configured or assigned to the member, such as billing information, certificates, documents, subscriptions, or shared files.

Q: Does the Branded App update change existing workflows and automations?

The redesigned unified Client Portal experience changes the member-facing experience without changing existing backend routing, workflows, automations, or integrations.
