How to Re-Integrate Google Calendar with HighLevel for a User

This article guides you through re-integrating your Google Calendar with HighLevel to resolve sync issues and restore calendar functionality.


IMPORTANT: You cannot use the "login as" feature since connecting a Google account needs to be done by the user who owns that Google account.

What is Google Calendar Re-Integration?


If your Google Calendar events are not syncing, or a user has recently updated their Google account permissions, you may need to re-integrate Google Calendar with HighLevel. 


Re-integration is recommended when:

  • Calendar events stop syncing.

  • Google account permissions were changed or revoked.

  • A calendar was disconnected and needs to be reconnected.

  • Open Authorization errors or sync issues are appearing in the account.

Steps to Re-Integrate Google Calendar


Step 1: Deleting the Google Calendar


You can delete a connected Google Calendar from two sections.


  1. From My Profile section:

    1. Click on Settings from your sub-account.
       

    2. Select the My Profile Option and navigate to Calendar Settings.



    3. Click on the Bin/Delete icon of the connected Google Account.



    4. Check the acknowledgement box from the pop-up and click on Confirm.



  2. From Calendar Connections Section:

    1. Click on Settings from your sub-account.



    2. Click on Calendars and select the Connections tab.



    3. Under Connected Calendars, click on the Bin/Delete icon of the connected Google Account.



    4. Check the acknowledgement box from the pop-up and click on Confirm.



Step 2: Re-Integrate Google Calendar


You can re-connect the Google Calendar from two sections:


  1. From My Profile Section:

    1. Click on your sub-account Settings and select My Profile option.
       
    2. Under Calendar Settings, click on the + Add New button.



  2. From Calendar Connections Section:

    1. Click on your sub-account Settings and select Calendars option.

    2. Click on the Connections tab and select the + Add New button under Connected Calendars.

Step 3: Test and Confirm


After you finish the re-integration process, test your Google calendar to make sure the syncing process works the way it should.
