How to Customise Prospecting Report with Report Builder

Modified on: Fri, 27 Jun, 2025 at 2:21 AM

We’re excited to introduce a major upgrade to your Prospecting Reports experience:
completely redesigned Web Report UI and a powerful Report Builder that gives you total control over how your reports look and feel.

This update is all about helping customers tell their brand story, create better first impressions, and close more deals with custom-branded, high-converting reports.

What’s New in the Web Report UI?

We've made big improvements to streamline the report reading experience — both for you and your prospects.

UI Enhancements:

  1. Streamlined Header

    • The previous sticky header that took up too much space is now fixed.

    • The header no longer obstructs content while scrolling.

  2. Optimized Layout

    • We’ve removed empty white margins from both sides.

    • The report is now cleaner, more compact, and easier to navigate — with better content visibility and focus.

Note: This new UI is available only for Web Reportsat this moment.

Introducing the All-New Report Builder

Our most requested feature is finally here — fully customizable report branding. You now have the power to tailor the report experience end-to-end.

How to Access the Report Builder

  1. Available at both Agency level and Sub-Account level

  2. Requires a Premium Prospecting Subscription
(If you're already subscribed, you have access right away. If you're using Basic Prospecting, you can explore Report Builder but won't be able to save changes.)

Go to:

  • Agency View → Click on the Prospecting tab

  • Sub-Account View → Go to Marketing → Prospecting

  1. Click on the “Report Builder” tab to get started

You can now link your Agency Sub-Account to your Agency’s Premium Prospecting Subscription and use these features without purchasing a second subscription!

How to Customize Your Report

1️⃣ Choose the Section to Edit

The Report Builder is divided into 4 customizable tabs:

  • Brand Theme

  • Header Customization

  • Introduction Customization

  • Footer Customization

Simply click a tab and start editing. You’ll see live previews on the right side.

2️⃣ Preview & Save

  • Click “Preview” to open the full report in a new tab

  • Click “Save” to apply changes across all past and future reports

  • You can also use “Reset to Default” to revert your customizations

Brand Theme Tab

This section allows you to define your brand's visual identity across the report. You can customize:

  • Primary Color: The main background or base color used across the report (e.g., background of sections).

  • Secondary Color: A supporting accent color used subtly to complement the primary color.

  • Report Text Color: This controls the main text color inside the report content.

  • Header Link Color: Sets the color for any clickable links in the header (like your website URL).

  • CTA Background Color: Color of the call-to-action (CTA) buttons like "Connect Now" or "Contact Now".

  • CTA Text Color: The color of the text displayed inside the CTA button.

All changes will instantly reflect in the preview panel on the right.
✅ Use this to align your reports with your brand’s website, logo, or marketing assets.

Header Customization – Visibility Options & Design

This section gives you control over what elements show up in the report header.

Visibility Toggles:

  • Show Header Logo: Toggle to display/hide your business logo.

  • Show Header Website: Show or hide your business website link.

  • Show Header Description: A short line like a tagline or supportive text (e.g., “Need help with your audit?”).

  • Show Header Email / Contact: Choose whether to show your contact email and phone number.

  • Show Header CTA Button: Enable or hide the main action button like “Contact Now.”

Header Design Options:

  • Font Family: Choose the typeface (e.g., Arial, Roboto).

  • Font Weight: Set font thickness (Normal, Medium, Bold).

  • Font Style: Regular or Italic.

These settings help personalize the tone of your message — from clean and professional to bold and eye-catching.

Header Content Entry & Actions

Here you fill out actual header content:

  • Upload Logo: Recommended size 80x80px.

  • Header Title: Title text shown beside your logo.

  • Header Description: Supportive line under the title.

  • Header Website: URL displayed as a clickable link.

  • Header Email: Contact email address.

  • Header Phone Number: Your business contact number.

CTA Setup:

  • CTA Text: What the button will say (e.g., "Schedule Now").

  • CTA Action: Choose what happens when someone clicks:

    • URL: Takes them to your booking or website.

    • Email: Opens an email draft to your contact.

    • Call: Dials your phone number (mobile devices).

This is great for encouraging immediate action from prospects reviewing the report.

Header Styles & CTA Presentation

  • Choose layout styles for the report header.

    • Left Top Wave: Simple wave background for elegance.

    • Full Background (not shown here): Ideal for attention-grabbing styles.

This visual setting determines how your CTA and info blocks appear in the header area.

Introduction Section Customization

This section helps you configure the intro content shown below the header.

  • Toggle to show/hide the entire introduction block.

  • Introduction Font Family, Weight, and Style: Customize how your intro paragraph looks.

  • Introduction Title: A short headline explaining what this section is about.

  • Introduction Description: Text giving context — great for educating the prospect on what the report covers and why it matters.

✅ Use this space to explain the value of the audit and how you can help fix identified gaps.

Footer Section Customization

Like the header, the footer section is highly customizable:

Footer Display Options:

  • Toggle to show/hide the footer description and CTA button.

Footer Content Settings:

  • Footer Title: A compelling CTA headline (e.g., “Ready to Fix Your Marketing?”).

  • Footer Description: Supportive explanation of the benefits or next step.

  • Footer Font Settings: Font family, weight, and style for consistent branding.

Footer CTA Action:

  • Just like in the header, you can define a button action:

    • Open a URL

    • Trigger a Call

    • Launch an Email

Footer CTAs are especially powerful because they capture action after the full report has been reviewed.

Why This Matters

With the new Web Report UI and Report Builder, you can:

  • Deliver on-brand reports that reflect your professionalism

  • Build trust with prospects through personalized details

  • Boost engagement and conversions with strategic CTAs

  • Save time by applying changes globally across all reports
