TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview

The "Remove Opportunity" action allows you to delete an opportunity associated with a contact. This action helps keep your pipeline clean by removing opportunities that are no longer relevant. With the latest enhancements, you now have more flexibility in selecting which opportunity to remove:

  • Opportunity that triggered the workflow
  • Opportunity found in a preceding “Find Opportunity” step
  • All opportunities linked to the contact

This allows for more precise control over opportunity management in your sales workflows.

Action Name

Remove Opportunity

Action Description

When triggered, the Remove Opportunity action deletes the specified opportunity (or opportunities). Depending on your selection, it can remove the opportunity that triggered the workflow, an opportunity identified by a Find Opportunity step, or all opportunities linked to the contact in a given pipeline. Once removed, the opportunity is no longer visible, so use this action with caution.

  2. Form Submission: If a customer submits a form indicating they are no longer interested, use this trigger to remove the opportunity.
  3. Appointment Cancelled: If a key appointment related to the opportunity is canceled, the opportunity can be removed from the pipeline automatically.
  4. Opportunity Status Change: If the opportunity is moved to a "Lost" status, the workflow can trigger this action to remove the opportunity entirely.

Additional Notes

  • Once an opportunity is removed, it can be recovered within a maximum of 2 months however only individually and not in bulk, so use this action carefully.
