Modified on: Mon, 29 Sep, 2025 at 1:58 AM

Ad Manager supports LinkedIn Ads along with the existing Meta and Google platforms, so you can create and manage campaigns for a professional audience. To get started, you’ll first need to connect your LinkedIn Ad Account.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Pre-requisites

Before connecting your LinkedIn account with Ad Manager:

  1. LinkedIn Ad Account

  2. LinkedIn Company Page

    • Every LinkedIn Ad Account must be connected to a Company Page.

    • We cannot connect the Company Page for you, it must already be linked within LinkedIn. Learn how to do so, here: http://linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a427419

  3. Access Permissions

    • Ad Account: You need Campaign Manager access.

    • Company Page: You need Admin access.

Steps to connect your LinkedIn account

  1. Go to Marketing > Ad Manager > Settings or do it from the onboarding page.

  2. In the Platform Settings section, select LinkedIn.

  3. Click Connect LinkedIn.

  4. A LinkedIn login window will appear. Enter your LinkedIn credentials.

  5. Approve the requested permissions.

  6. Choose the ad account you want to connect. (Make sure this ad account already has a Company Page linked in LinkedIn and a valid payment method added.)

  7. Once successful, your account will show as:

    • Active

    • With its currency (e.g., USD, EUR, INR) displayed.

Notes & best practices

  • If your ad account does not appear in the list, confirm you've the admin level permissions for that ad account.

  • Each ad account can only be connected if it has an associated Company Page.

  • If you need to disconnect/reconnect, use the bin icon to remove the connected LinkedIn ad account and connect another one of your choice in settings.
